This hotel is an 18 floors building consists of 597 rooms
and 5 suites situated in the heart of
the city. Close to Central Square (0.5 miles), and several
blocks away from Times Square. Generally, September and
October are busy months in the city; therefore, the hotel
advises to reserve the room at early date.
Reservations: The hotel advises the participants to book their reservations through calling their toll-free number in US 1-800-231-0405 OR 212-581-8100, and must identify themselves as participants of the GeneExpression Systems Group Code XGE. Block of rooms was reserved at a price of $199 per night (Plus taxes). Please make reservations by MAY 17, 2010 definitely to have a room at the specified price in the hotel. Reservations made beyond this 21 day cut-off, will be subject to space and rate availability.

Metro North: Metro North trains terminate

you up to 59th Street stop.
Amtrak, Long Island Rail
Road and NJ Trains: Penn Station (33 rd Street
and 8th Avenue) is the New York City Stop for all Amtrak,
LI Railroad and New Jersey trains. Take a cab (~4-5) uptown
to John Jay College at 59th Street and Columbus Circle.
Holiday Inn Midtown is at 57th Street between 9th and 10th
Avenue.
By CAR:
From Queens: 59th STREET BRIDGE- Once over
the bridge, make left turn at light and bear right to 57th
Street and 2nd Avenue. On 57th Street, make a right turn
and continue. Holiday Inn Midtown is on the left hand side
of 57th Street between 9th and 10th Avenue.
Queens Midtown Tunnel: Once out of the
tunnel, follow signs to 37th Street. Continue on 37th Street
to 10th Avenue. Make a right turn on 37th Street at 10th
Avenue. Follow 10th Avenue until 57th Street, then make
a right. The Holiday Inn Midtown will be on your right hand
side.
