‘Insulin Resistance to Delivery, Body Weight Regulation & Devices’
Inaugural
Cardiovascular Diseases & Devices (CDD)-2012 Meeting
on
‘Molecular Cardiology to Biotherapeutics & Stents’
Date: July 9-10, 2012
Venue:The Joseph B. Martin Conference Center at Harvard Medical School
77 Avenue Louis Pasteur, Boston, MA 02115, USA
Theme of the Meeting:
Needless to say that Diabetes, Obesity and Cardio-vascular diseases are the major devastating metabolic syndromes in the westernized and developing world. This is the most important venue to bring together mix of quality presentations by high-caliber speakers and a place to exhibit lucrative medical devises. In this meeting we will bring latest innovations in the intersection of obesity, diabetes and cardiovascular diseases. Novel genome-wide, proteomics and systems biology approaches will be discussed to understand the molecular signaling events involved in diseased processes, and subsequently develop novel drug targets. This meeting will also highlight the cell therapy approaches using stem cells especially in the treatment of diabetes, vessel repair and regeneration. Most importantly, the latest devices and their applications in the delivery of insulin, glucose monitoring, vascular stents and synthetic valves will be discussed.
